About David Schnadig

Originally from the North Chicago suburbs, I found my way to Oregon through a mix of travel, music, and a love for the outdoors, eventually putting down roots in the Mt. Hood area. That path shaped both who I am and how I work, adaptable, disciplined, and deeply connected to the communities I serve.

Before entering real estate, I spent 29 years as a professional chef, a career built on precision, consistency, and attention to detail. In the kitchen, small mistakes can have big consequences, and that mindset carries directly into real estate. From contracts and inspections to negotiations and timelines, I approach every transaction with the same level of diligence and care that a chef brings to a perfectly executed dish.

Alongside my culinary career, I also worked in creative trades such as glassblowing, which reinforced patience, craftsmanship, and problem-solving skills that translate directly into navigating complex real estate transactions. Living and working in mountain and rural communities has given me firsthand knowledge of recreation properties, land, and the unique challenges of buying and selling outside major metro areas.
